Collaboration in European standards’ gremiums
Our safety engineers collaborate actively in CEN’s (Comité Européen de Normalisation) and CENELEC’s (Comité Européen de Normalisation Electrotechnique) European standards’ gremiums as well as in national and international associations.

Why do manufacturers apply to us?
Although EU regulations specify that the responsibility for product safety rests with manufacturers, it is always possible to have products voluntarily assessed by an accredited certification body. As manufacturers are responsible for every aspect of their products, confirmation in the form of independent assessments offers them the additional security that their products comply with the relevant guidelines.
