Short and succinct
We work daily to optimise the interplay between prevention, insurance and rehabilitation in order to make a significant contribution to the health of our insurees and to keep our premiums as low as possible for our customers.
Our latest annual report provides you with a detailed overview of our annual financial statements and balance sheets, and sets out what we have been doing for our customers and insurees over the past business year.
You can also find information about our most important projects as well as an overview of the organisation.
We make work and leisure time safe.
In 2022, we launched our new structures and new claims management system. This took a lot of energy at first, but the effort was worth it. We can now act in an even more efficient and targeted manner. And, above all, we can align ourselves with our customers’ needs even more effectively.
Suva is posting a negative annual result of CHF –152 million for 2022. The main cause of this result was the difficult year for the stock market, which led to a negative investment performance.
Wherever possible, Suva returns surpluses to its insured companies in the form of premium reductions. We are refunding surplus investment returns from previous years of around CHF 824 million in the form of lower premiums in 2023.
You can find our annual financial statement as well as further information about our main activities of prevention, insurance and rehabilitation for the 2021 business year in our annual report.
As part of its climate strategy, Suva also supports improving transparency in reporting climate change impacts. This TCFD report highlights the impact of climate change on Suva's business operations as well as Suva's impact on climate change.
